We went to the minor mountains about two hours outside Marrakesh last sunday with some of the teachers from the ALC. We caravaned out in three cars and picnicked on a hillside overlooking the dam. I fail to remember the name of the place we went. But the translation is something about a bottomless abyss, which I don't believe actually exists.
Some of the male teachers went for a swim, and our friend Youseff managed to swim almost exclusively in muddy water. He may not have noticed from his location IN the water, but from our vantage point on the hill he put on a pretty good show dogpaddling in the mud. Youseff brought a frisbee and we spent most of the afternoon running around the rocky, uneven hillside. For awhile Vanessa seemed to be aiming specifically for some kids smoking hash a little down the hill. Probably the best frisbee moment was when our kind, respectable, reserved director was filming the four of us playing and Vanessa thew the frisbee directly in his face. Twice. Her malice was unwarranted.
Can't wait to see the videos.
Here are the photos.
