An evening with Chicago Dialogue Project

Few events regarding services for sexual assault or domestic violence survivors can be classified as "fun". I mean, I'd settle for "not disturbing", "not a black tunnel of futile despair", or "having men in the room" for most of these convos. It's hard to engage people not already involved in the cause.

LO, the women of the Chicago Dialogue Project are thinking, fast and well.
Their Dialogue & Supper last night broke new ground in fun, educational, inclusive & solution-seeking events on the (always loaded) topic of Sexual Assault & DV.

The IL legislature's trying to pass a budget that cuts 75% of Health & Human services - a dearth that extends far beyond sexual assault and domestic violence survivor services. Think foster care, school meals, shelters, etc.
